Y pattern globe valve for Hydrogenation


Product Description

The high-pressure globe valves used in the hydrogenation station has a relatively short opening or closing stroke and a very reliable shut-off function. This kind of globe valve makes the liquid hardly change the direction of flow. The valve stem and the channel are at a certain angle, and the valve seat sealing surface has a certain angle with the inlet and outlet channels, and the valve body can be made integral. The valve disc and the valve stem are designed as an integral structure to prevent the internal parts from rushing out of the valve body due to pipeline pressure fluctuations. The structure is compact and safe to use. The valve body can fully withstand temperature changes and cause expansion and contraction, and the structure of the valve seat portion λ will not be permanently deformed due to temperature changes.


The hydrogenation high pressure globe valve is composed of a valve body, a valve cover, a valve stem, and a valve clack. For valves that work under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the working conditions of the sealing surface are quite harsh, so there are higher requirements for the performance of the sealing surface. For a long time, the expensive cobalt, chromium and tungsten have been widely used as the material for surfacing valve sealing surfaces at home and abroad. In order to reduce costs, solve the problem of cracks during surfacing welding and improve the machining performance of the valve sealing surface, a series of high-alloy bonding fluxes for submerged arc automatic surfacing welding have been developed  in recent years. Once the Y-type globe valve is in the open position, there is no more contact between its valve seat and the sealing surface of the disc, so its sealing surface is less mechanically worn, and the valve seat and disc are easier to repair or to replace the sealing element. Remove the entire valve from the pipeline, which is very suitable for the occasion where the valve and the pipeline are welded together. The flow direction of the medium through this type of valve has changed.


Working Principle

The opening height of the valve disc of the hydrogenation high pressure globe valve is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the valve seat passage, so it is much smaller than that of the gate valve. Usually there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and the valve disc, so the manufacturing process is relatively good and easy to maintain. The handwheel rotates in a clockwise direction, and the working medium enters from the channel under the valve disc. At this time, the applied sealing force must be equal to or greater than the sum of the necessary specific pressure generated on the sealing surface and the upward force of the medium. On the contrary, if it rotates counterclockwise, the valve flap closes the inlet and stops the flow of medium.


Utility

Hydrogenation high-pressure globe valves Y-type globe valves is suitable for hydrogenation equipment with a maximum temperature of 550 degrees Celsius. It cuts off or connects to the medium and prevents high-temperature hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen corrosion.
